A classic! Tails???

This story has to be my all time favorite from Kyrah.

Kyrah was outside playing one afternoon and the dog was out with her. She was running around and talking up a storm about this and that. I, being very pregnant, was just sitting on a chair listening and watching. I love hearing this girl tell stories! Anyway, she was talking to me about our dog and how the dog has eyes, a nose, mouth...etc just like we do. Then she stops and looks at me and says "Cassie has a tail but we don't. Well, Daddy has a tail but we don't, huh Mommy?" I burst out laughing, I couldn't control it! I've heard kids call genitals lots of things, but this was the first I'd heard a penis referred to as a tail! She has since taken to calling them "boy parts" but that's not near as fun.

Boobs

Just this morning, I was brushing Kyrah's hair in the bathroom. She has a little, tiny zit like thing on her forehead that I pointed out purely because her baby brother has one in the exact same spot right now. The conversation:

Me: "What is this thing on your head? Ryker has one too."

Kyrah: "It's just like my boobs, see?" (As she lifts up her shirt to show me her 'boobs'.)

Me: "Your boobs?"

Kyrah: "Yeah, now my forehead looks like a boob too."

Um... ok???

Meet Kyrah.

This is Kyrah. She is 4 years old and has a crazy imagination! Sometimes she says things that are so off the wall it really makes me wonder what is going on in her little head. I always say that I'm going to remember them all but, let's face it, I have a horrible memory! So, I started this blog, mostly for myself to write down the things she says. I'll be posting new ones as they come up and sometimes post some classics as I remember them. Just please remember that I am no writer, spelling and grammar mistakes will happen..often. :) Enjoy!
